This is an excellent performing whole house water filtration system at a lower price than most competitors.
I highly recommend using the mounting bracket as it will hold the unit for you while installing and removing the filter housing. I also recommend using the AP 817 filters as these offer the highest level of filtration for this unit. Change the filter every 3 to 6 months. On each filter change, coat the o-ring with some petroleum jelly (vaseline) and change the ring when needed. I've used this product since I bought my house 5 years ago and so far it's been great for us.
