I bought a pair of these for my propur big when they were first released. I installed them, primed them, they worked just fine to my knowledge. Couple months down the road, I let water cycle through completely and then let them sit for about a week without adding any more water. Well, after that week I grab some unfiltered water and poured it in. When I did this, I could hear the water coming out of the bottom of the filters in a constant steady stream. If you have ever owned a gravity filter, you know this doesn't happen, they drip water out, slowly. Well, when I drain the water fully out and inspect the filters, they both have large cracks where the plastic meets the ceramic. Both of these filters are now completely worthless.
