I purchased 3 different replacement filters of which one was bad. I'm not sure which it was but a strong chemical taste remained in the water even after flushing the filters out for 30 minutes. This was my 3rd replacement over the last 3 years and my first bad experience. It turns out you can purchase a new filter for the cost of the replacement cartridges. That makes no sense to me.
