I purchased a waterwise 4000 when it was supplied with the plastic collector. Later I discovered that the
plastic collector had been replaced with one made of glass. I never really liked the plastic version
so I decided to purchase the glass for $60.00, which I thought was very expensive but I wanted the glass
so I bought it. What a waste of money! This is one of the most poorly designed products I have ever seen.
The handle being on the top makes no sense at all. When you pour the water out you have to grab the handle
and the bottom of the collector and pour slowly or the water will go in all directions due to the poorly
designed spout. The covers that go over the plastic lids spout and the collection hole do not fit properly.
Also, when you wash the container in the sink it is best to remove the handle or it's in the way.
Waterwise has always had a good reputation for making quality products. I just don't understand how they
could bring a product like this to market and charge $60.00 for it.
