I purchased these for my 5 stage system. The only thing "I" needed was where the filters actually went. They're not marked as to "carbon", "pre-carbon", etc. I had to go to the Internet and do some research as to what each one was.

I know, you're thinking just replace the filter with the one that looks like it. But the thing is, a couple of my old filters looked alike. I think the company that I purchase the unit from either made a mistake or "skimped" on the cost and put two cheap filters in.

So anyway, now I have the unit like it's supposed to be.
