I developed a 32 stage POE (point of entry) and a many stage throughout the house POS (point of service, ex.-under the sink) I don't feel like I was cheating. I developed a system, copied all the model #'s and then went to Amazon. I spent $830.00 for a 40 stage POE, which includes a non-salt water softener, a ph filter. In my basement, 6 filters, 20" with a 4,5" diameter filter, a water softener and a pressure regulator. Filters in my bathroom shower and under my sink. I included an ultraviolet system with a membrane and 4 gallon tank under the sink. This a reverse osmosis system. Go on line to the US governments EPA site on drinking water. Develop your filtration systems and come to Amazon.Then on Amazon, I bought 3 pitchers, a ph pitcher, anti-bacterial pitcher and then a water polishing pitcher last for drinking. They stay in my refrigerator. Do you think I am over filtering. I don't think so. People need to realize that Amazon also sells organic fertilizers for your lawn that kill weeds and build a strong root based lawn. Compound these pesticides with benzenes, e-coli bacteria and the chlorine most city systems add to kill the bacteria. The chlorine however forms equations, then you get cancer causing ethylenes in your water. Pick your weeds out with a weed tool, go organic and eventually our water systems will be good. George Carlin always included in his act, when you go all over the US and people are drinking bottled water, watch out=paranoia. I saved a lot. After I tweek my system, which you may think is overkill but is not, Amazon has a SUBSCRIBE and SAVE program. Presently, I have a Wish list of all my replaceable filters. When I get to know how long each lasts, I will include in Amazon's program. With SUBSCRIBE and SAVE, Amazon sends you the filters automatically when you need them. For example, if your sediment filter lasts 6 months, you join and put down this filter for 6 months. It's not only the non-thinking of when to change, but the filter's price is reduced substantially. I saved with Amazon, $10,000.00-$830.00(all the filtration filters from Amazon)-$400.00 (plumber installation)= $8770.00. By the way, Purenex are good filters and an excellent company for customer service through Amazon. I needed a filter wrench. I emailed Amazon, the next day, Purenex emailed and said it is in the mail. I used Purenex and Watts filtration devices through Amazon. Both great companies and look at my savings. More than that, I feel very healthy and my immune system is strong. I saved big money with Amazon but scored great on my entire family becoming very healthy. That is very IMPORTANT indeed. If Amazon could work something out with me, contact Amazon and ask for a description of the system I built. I will explain what each filter does and its benefits to you.
