This system is so powerful it can remove red food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance. Anyone that has looked very long knows that this is the best passive water filter around. I looked everywhere for this item. This is the best price/deal around. Delivery was fast, Packing was great, communication great. FYI the Berkey comes with some plugs for the top tank so you don't have to use all the filters at once. It also comes with a black anti-scoot ring that goes around the bottom of the unit to prevent scratching counter tops. An additional item to look for and buy is a site glass for the bottom tank so you can see how full/empty it is.
